Chromatic aberration in metalenses

چکیده
This paper provides a mathematical approach to the study of chromatic aberration in metalenses. It is shown that radiation given wavelength refracted according generalized Snell's law, which together with notion envelope, yields existence phase discontinuities. then used establish quantitative measure dispersion metalenses, concluding visible spectrum it has same order magnitude as for standard lenses.

Chromatic aberration at PHELIX
The influence of the dispersion of glass seams only relevant for femtosecond lasers with a pulse length below 100 fs. This commonly used approximation holds only for visible and IR light. For UV fs-laser Z. Bor stated out that due to the large dispersion in the UV regime fs-pulses with a duration of a few hundred femtoseconds are significantly affected in lenses by the group delay [1]. When a p...
متن کاملChromatic Aberration and Depth Extraction
In this paper, we introduce chromatic aberration as a source of visual information that can be useful for autofocus and depth estimation. A color video camera equiped with a lens with chromatic aberration has been used to take images of both step and occlussion edges at several distances from the camera. The defocus measures obtained in the three d$ferent RGB color channels of each image are di...
متن کاملAnti-forensics of chromatic aberration
Over the past decade, a number of information forensic techniques have been developed to identify digital image manipulation and falsifications. However, recent research has shown that an intelligent forger can use antiforensic countermeasures to disguise their forgeries. In this paper, an anti-forensic technique is proposed to falsify the lateral chromatic aberration present in a digital image...
متن کاملOn the chromatic aberration of microlenses.
The optical properties of plano-convex refractive microlenses with low Fresnel Number (typically FN < 10) are investigated. It turns out that diffraction effects at the lens aperture limit the range of the effective focal length. The upper limit of the focal length is determined by the diffraction pattern of a pinhole with equal diameter. In addition achromatic microlenses can be realized becau...
متن کاملChromatic Aberration Recovery on Arbitrary Images
Digital imaging sensor technology has continued to outpace development in optical technology in modern imaging systems. e resulting quality loss attributable to lateral chromatic aberration is becoming increasingly signi cant as sensor resolution increases; other classes of aberration are less signi cant with classical image enhancement (e.g. sharpening), whereas lateral chromatic aberration be...
